Kashu Privacy Policy

Kashu is a personal accounting and finance tracking app developed by HansaiTech.

Kashu keeps accounting records on your device by default. We do not sell personal data and we do not use third-party advertising trackers.

Information You Enter in the App

Kashu may store the following information locally on your device:

• Transactions, amounts, dates, categories, notes, and account names.
• Account settings, budgets, goals, recurring records, and display preferences.
• Investment records such as ticker symbols, shares, buy or sell records, cost, and market value.
• App preferences.

AI Features

AI features are disabled in this release.

Support Reports

If you submit a support report, Kashu may collect your email address if provided, report subject, message, app version, device platform, and the last locally stored JavaScript crash log if available. This information is used to diagnose and respond to your issue.

Backup and Restore

Kashu allows you to export and import backup files. Backup files are created only when you choose to export them. You are responsible for where you store or share exported backup files.

In-App Purchases

Kashu Pro purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Kashu receives purchase status information needed to unlock Pro features. We do not receive your full payment card details.

Market Data and Exchange Rates

Kashu may request stock prices, crypto prices, or exchange rates from external data services. These requests are used to update displayed values.

Data Sharing

Kashu does not sell your personal data. Data may be shared only when necessary to provide optional features you use, such as support report handling, App Store purchase verification, market price requests, or exchange rate requests.

Data Retention

Local app data remains on your device until you delete it, reset the app, uninstall the app, or import different data. Support reports may be retained for troubleshooting and service improvement.

Your Choices

You can delete local records inside the app, reset app data, or uninstall the app. You can contact us to request deletion of support reports or other data you previously sent to HansaiTech.

Children

Kashu is not intended for collecting personal information from children.
